You're pulling definitions out of your ass. Both colonization and occupation are bad. But Chinese occupation is particularly bad because its aimed at destroying the ethnic composition of the occupied region, erasing its history and identity. This is what happened in Xinjiang. Plonking a skyscraper in Xinjiang doesn't make it developed nor beautiful.

Instead of asking what USA is gonna do about China, you should be asking what Modi is gonna do about China?
Since 2021 China has thrown out the weak Indian army from about 4000 sq km in Ladakh.
Modi is so scared of China he does not say a word about the territory China has occupied.
