There's no such self perception common among Germans. They think they are smarter than a couple of populations in the third world, though. But not it being a peculiarity of Germans.

It's not multiculturalism but leftism and social media, other cultures only become bad when they have destructive/degenerate practices and are unable to assimilate to the culture of their host country. Kids today are stupid because they have no care about getting a higher education and doing something with their lives, all they care about is Tiktok, narcissism and stupid fads.
