Yeah many Turks have Balkan heritage but also many Turks without Balkan heritage can pass as Italian. (especially people from Western side)

Btw I'm not trolling or so I'm not claiming, don't get triggered. But people in Turkey (at least in my experience) always see Spaniards, Portuguese and Italians as dark people. Especially Iberians. Some people thinks Iberians darker than Turks.
