Default Straight men are only capable of loving straight men theory

I am not saying that I support it or anything. But I am hanging out with feminist. And this theory is becoming popular in feminist spaces. I even hang out with men's rights activists too. I just like understanding viewpoint of other people. Sort of hobby. Before anyone want to insult me

Sexism exist because straight men are only capable of loving straight men

    Quote to explain their logic.

    Thought on this?

To say that straight men are heterosexual is only to say that they engage in sex (fucking exclusively with the other sex, i.e., women). All or almost all of that which pertains to love, most straight men reserve exclusively for other men. The people whom they admire, respect, adore, revere, honor, whom they imitate, idolize, and form profound attachments to, whom they are willing to teach and from whom they are willing to learn, and whose respect, admiration, recognition, honor, reverence and love they desire… those are, overwhelmingly, other men. In their relations with women, what passes for respect is kindness, generosity or paternalism; what passes for honor is removal to the pedestal. From women they want devotion, service and sex.

Heterosexual male culture is homoerotic; it is man-loving."

This is an extreme idea that I don’t believe is true. Men usually prefer male friendships, but I don’t think this takes away from their emotional attachment to certain women, it is just a different kind of attachment (but not lesser in my view)

This true if you equal "love" to how I love pizza, vodka and Romanesque buildings. But it has nothing to do with anything erotic. I can not develop what is commonly called love feelings or a love interest towards a man.

The whole theory to me seems based on a confusion caused by that you have the same term - love - for two different things.
