At least as far as Spain is concerned, the areas of regional languages should be barred, since in addition to the regional language, the Spanish language is spoken.
This is more correct for Spain, as well as realistic.
Linguistic map of Spain.
As can be seen in the Valencian Community, there is a good territory where Valencian is not spoken.

E-V22 - E-BY7449 - E-BY7566 - E-FT155550
According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

overall good for a broad idea. in particular in Romania there's still a lot of villages speaking other languages in other regions as well, most prominently Serbian in the southwest, Ukrainian in the north, Hungarian (Csango dialect) in the northeast, Russian (Lipovan) in the northeast and southeast, Roma (Gypsy) here and there in all regions.
my village is correctly covered by Ukrainian inside Romania on this map, though the real region compactly covered by Ukrainian is a bit larger.
also, Ukrainian doesn't cover all the area shown, especially in the urban areas, not at all (let alone that almost all of the Ukrainian refugees I encounter everyday in my city in Romania speak Russian, I hear them on the street, in the bus, at the mall etc)
