Outside Western Europe, which of these countries would you categorise as 'Western' and why?

Traditionally the Western world includes all the traditionally Catholic and Protestant areas of Europe + Northern America, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand. Orthodox countries of Eurasia are a separate Eastern civilization. Other countries you mention have nothing to do with Western civilization, except very superficially because of being democracies or having adopted much of the material and technological aspects of the West. But no worries, the West is dying anyway. Christianity is not so important to majority of Westerners anymore and they hardly have babies anymore, being slowly replaced by non-Western immigrants. Well in this respect, Orthodox countries are not far behind, also having low birthrates and taking in immigrants from Asia and Africa(some of these countries are).

in this sense Greeks took stuff from the Near East so let's have all the Caucasian peoples "Western".

I talk about common acceptance, not my own system - as an anarchist I don't praise the common splitting too much, and I already wrote that.

also, I am one of those who consider Romania and the Balkans and Eastern Europe part of the East/the Oriental world, in course of Westernization but until recently very Oriental, so I am not a West-enthusiast to favour them (quite the contrary).

so don't go to Ancient stuff, people call West the level of Americanization, the level of adopting the American way of life popularized through films, music, music videos, TV shows etc, something that all people are connected to increasingly and heavily shaped the local cultures globally.

also, I did include the Mediterranean in the West, maybe you overlooked that list - in a third layer of the West, after the core and the Nordics. so Latin America would be an overseas expression of Mediterranean infused with local cultures of course.

If we go by that (closeness to US America) then Latin America is even more western than all of Europe. I'm not claiming with this that Latin America is more western than Europe, but only addressing the bold part. Venezuela is full of big American style malls/shopping centers spread out in the suburbs of large cities, just like in US; there are even yellow school buses, just like those in United States that in Europe would only be seen in the American movies; in the 60s, 70s and 80s (and still today) it was (and is currently) filled with big classic Cadillac-style American cars and classic American pick ups that you would never see in Europe (cars like Chevrolet Nova, Malibu Classic, Ford Mustang, Ford Maverick (car), Dodge Dart, Ford Torino, Chevrolet Camaro,; etc, etc and classic American pick up trucks like Chevy trucks, ford trucks and dodge trucks that in Europe would only be seen in movies, plus many new modern American pickup truck models) just google them to see what I talk about. Even the license plates in Venezuela have the same shape (wider and not that long rectangular shape) as the US American license plates, unlike in Europe (where they have a longer and thinner rectangular shape), and the signaling on the roads and highways, indicating distances to towns and cities, and indicating exits and other stuff) use the same US American road signaling system (green boards, and green board with yellow bar on the top to indicate exits, etc). Rock music (though rock is unfortunately dying today) has always been very popular in Latin America, and all Latin American countries always have had their own national rock bands (different styles like metal, punk, punk metal, progressive, hard rock, alternative rock, etc, etc), from different cities within each country (Spanish language rock, most of them, plus few ones that even sing in English); American movies and series were always very popular through all Latin America. I don't know which kind of jungle you think Latin America is.
