Actually Britain is one of the most whitewashed from what I have seen personally - the British people that I've met (and I've met many, mostly English, but also Scottish) had a surprisingly "dark" complexion - still fully within Europe and lighter than the Mediterranean for sure, but darker than the Poles. Which was somewhat surprising to see.

Absolute rubbish, poles lighter than Brits? Most poles usually have this yellowish reddish undertone whilst Brits are either extremely pasty pale or pinkish undertones.
