They are not more nice you just feel bluntness coming from a woman more hurtful, either because you expect them to treat you well or just to be nice. Generally females are more agreeable, but they can be more moody than men. they socialise differently

I certainly don't hate females, and I generally like them. Notice my post says "in general". That means it's just a broad take (pun not intended). There are many nice females out there. But from my own experience, I have heard them cackling like a bunch of hens and putting other people down and saying stuff like that and just really petty behavior that men seem to avoid. Men will just beat you up or something, but they will be your friend for life.

Not sure what to say about if either gender is nicer, but I will say that women are definitely painted as being way nicer than they really are. I've met so many women who were extremely belittling, passive aggressive, and status seeking but people would not accept it or acknowledge it especially if they were attractive because of the halo effect. Also in my experience a lot of feminists are extremely cold and mean and hypocritical beware of them I won't even go near feminists anymore. I don't mean to sound sexist but this has been my honest experience.

I may not be the best person to ask though because unfortunately in real life most women have always disliked me to some extent.

But sort of related to your comment I'd think there are double standards when it comes to the actions of men and women.

Not always or with anyone, but it's usually like that.

Women more often appear nice by default, in some cases it is just a façade of false presentation, that hides reality.
