A tragedy, next to the statistic of tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians killed by the Russian invasion he supported.
    Spoiler!

There are no "tens of thousands of civilians" dead in this war. It's not war in Iraq with carpet bombings or in Dresden style (this Barbaric act took away lives of tens of thousands of civilians, indeed). Btw I'm surprised you didn't use hundreds of thousands instead of tens

OK, my apologies, the tragedy of Gonzalo Lira's death in Ukraine vs the statistic of 10,000+ Ukrainian civilian deaths because of the Russian invasion he supported.
    Spoiler!

There are literally thousands of civilians in Ukraine who disappeared without trace for "pro Russian activity", Ukraine controlled part of Donbass existed as under occupation with all towns turned into fortresses by Ukrainian army with populace living under total surveillance, lots of random young men disappeared from streets without any trace or being tortured. After the war started, lots of people known to be "pro Russian" (in most of cases just those who didn't tolerate the nationalist bacchanalia were found and shot on place, others became hostages which were further included in lists for exchange to Russia.

Enough of famous civilians, including Kievan writer Oles' Buzina were assasinated before 24.2, Nazi gangs were usually used for the dirty job. I don't mention tens of thousands of people who had to leave Kharkov, Dnepr, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson since 2014 because they were "suspects" and their life became unbearable, they lost jobs, position in society, their businesses got raided and taken away, everything possible.

Without active war, up to 2022 Ukrainian army shellings killed around 3k people in Donbass.

As for me, ancestral home of my mother in Odessa region got confiscated from me, as a property of Russian citizen.

This state deserves to disappear and it will.

Why 10 thousand and not 10 million? You can name any number. Let's call the figure of 1 billion peaceful Ukrainians? The more monstrous the lie, the easier it is for stupid cattle to believe in this figure

It’s a pity for the man, but from the very beginning he surprised me with his lack of understanding that this would be the end of the matter.
    Philosopher (by education). Idealist.
It’s not clear what he was counting on, because he himself saw and told what was happening, but for some reason he believed that it would not affect him?
He was offered to leave in the spring. At first he continued talking. Then he was offered to leave for money, he refused, but in the end he decided to leave. But then the SSU decided to temporarily not release him and detain him so that he would not collect independent materials. But in the end they decided that he couldn’t be judged and couldn’t be released. Well, they actually killed him. He became famous and collected materials that contradicted the official information. That is, he actually put a big money at risk.

The US State Department will not report this, because this is DIFFERENT.

Kharkov invasion will start after Russian forces procure higher amounts of jet-powered loitering drones. They are being built right now.

Even if it was not so, seems like is quite acceptable for Jehan that a non combatant dies in Ukrainian prison system after months of persecution. I mean, such things should be acceptable to me and other Russians, we are Orcs, you are enlightened European.
Hence Ukraine gave him residence and hospitality but he betrayed them and collaborated with occupiers. I am not sorry for this propagandist, but I am sorry for thousands of killed children in Ukraine.
