Ancestrally I'm from the Pamir region of Tajikistan but I live in the U.S but before moving here I used to live in the Geneva canton of Switzerland. I can speak: English, Russian, Shughni (East Iranian) and conversational French. Nice to meet you all!

because there is difference between pamiri languages and tajik persian language in tajikistan, so he speaks only shughni which belongs to pamiri languages.. both tajiki persian and pamiri languages belong to one iranic language group
