During the Medieval Period, there were a number of Queen’s who were beloved by English people, and they served their Kings and people well offering good advice. But there were a number who were treated terribly in their deaths, for example Catherine of Valois the wife of Henry V was left unburied for around 400 years and her corpse was often defiled and people even paid to touch her remains and body. But there was another Medieval Queen whose body was subjected to a horrific ordeal as her bones were stolen. Anne of Bohemia was a Queen who married King Richard II and she came to England specifically for her marriage, but at the age of 28 she died form the plague which was causing chaos across the nation, and she was then buried inside of Westminster Abbey.
