I hope that no Western government will 'dump' any of its allies. If they don't show solidarity against the menace of regimes that wish us nothing but harm, we are all fucked, and deservedly so.

You mean: use them to defend your dying industry so you get to pirate off the world a bit longer. Never mind the fact that you left a trail of cultural death and bodies there as well. American banks heavily supported Brexit and now much of their economy is dead. American financiers funded Hitler AND the Bolsheviks so it could "liberate Europe" of its empires, its industry and its scientific community, with the profits going to America and now with your sti'' economy failing because of your inherent centralisation of all financial power (U.S finance relies on monopolists), you're trying the same game again. And, important to Europeans: countless art pieces was either outright stolen or "gifted" or "sold for a cheap price" by the new U.S friendly puppet governments.

It created terror groups inside Europe, so it could keep the citizenry on edge and fearful fpr years on end, so they could extract more. It "influenced" elections in France, Italy, West Germany and Belgium and used financial terror against the first elected socialist UK government after it refused to do its bidding.

Many Europeans still live in denial over the extent of it, but the facts have been known since, at least, 1992.

Operation Gladio is undisputed historical fact. Gladio was part of a post-World War II program set up by the CIA and NATO supposedly to thwart future Soviet/communist invasions or influence in Italy and Western Europe. In fact, it became a state-sponsored right-wing terrorist network, involved in false flag operations and the subversion of democracy.

The existence of Gladio was confirmed and admitted by the Italian government in 1990, after a judge, Felice Casson, discovered the network in the course of his investigations into right-wing terrorism. Italian prime minister Giulio Andreotti admitted Gladio's existence but tried to minimize its significance.

The main function of the Gladio-style groups, in the absence of Soviet invasion, seems to have been to discredit left-wing groups and politicians through the use of "the strategy of tension," including false-flag terrorism. The strategy of tension is a concept for control and manipulation of public opinion through the use of fear, propaganda, agents provacateurs, terrorism, etc. The aim was to instill fear into the populace while framing communist and left-wing political opponents for terrorist atrocities.
