There's no point to get excited over this interview in my opinion. Putin won't say anything that he hasn't said before or that has been supposedly suppressed and censored in the West. And I say supposedly because someone less discerning and naive might watch this four-minute video and get the impression that we in the West are restricted to what Putin says or thinks, when in reality he's one of the most media-savvy figures on the planet. Putin's every move is covered, every step, interview and official communication he makes in Russia is translated and reported everywhere in the West. Tucker almost makes it sound like we're finally going to find out what Putin's real reasons or motives for the war are, when in reality he's already stated them countless times. He talks as if the West has been hiding the "real" reasons all this time, which is amusing.

Also, this interview is clearly planned and scrutinized from top to bottom, and anyone who has the slightest knowledge of the Kremlin's modus operandi knows that there is no room for spontaneous, impromptu interviews.
