As this is one of those "controversial" threads on the forum I would probably not write anything, but I remember how one person I know (a Belarusian) who was on holiday in Montenegro told me something along the line "people there are so dark-skinned, unlike us, normal people - Slavs, they almost look like Blacks".

While I thought this was pretty funny because of how over-the-top this comparison was, I have to admit that - while I don't think one can safely claim a Greek is not white - sometimes if you're from a more Northern part of Europe you would look at a person with a clearly darker skin (Mediterranean-like) and think that they are not exactly white.

Oh please relax! Most Belgians are type 3. However comparatively to many other European or White populations, a good chunk of us are type 2.

Much more so, but still e.g. Suha Arafat, Barbara Streisand and Shulamit Aloni don't really look European, despite being blonde, light-eyed and fully Caucasoid.

Oh please! Barbara Streisand is Ashkenazi Jewish. She has European blood as well added to her West Asian blood.

Arabs with skin type 2 are pretty rare. Most Arabs, Persians, Turks have a skin type that can deal with the sun better than Europeans as a whole, Ok!! The vast majority are skin type 4 and 5 not type 2! Some Arabs even have black skin (type 6) and aren’t of Sub - Saharan African descent. Southern Europeans ( Balkanites, Greeks, Iberians, Italians) as a whole are lighter than the Middle-Easterners and Northern Africans even though they are generally darker than Western or Northern or Eastern Europeans. Skin type 2 is commonest in North - Western Europe where Celtic blood is strongest.

A lot of europeans also look MENA. If there isnt african-australian signs, then white in my book.

MENA features were brought in Europe by the Jewish people who first came through the Roman Empire.
