Default Hungarian Surnames of Romanian origin

We have no accurate data concerning the exact percentage of surnames of non-Hungarian origin within the Hungarian surname stock. The vast majority of these surnames of non-Hungarian origin in Hungary is comprised by those of German and Slavic origin, with only a small minority of Romanian names besides them.

The most widespread components of the current Hungarian surname stock of Romanian origin are the surnames
Árgyelán (1200 persons as name bearers)
    Marosán (1400 persons)
    Moldován (1500 persons)

Among the surnames with over 1000 name bearers in Hungary we also find
    Ráduly (1100 persons)
    Krizsán (3400 persons)
    Serbán (1200 persons)
    Móré (1100 persons)

(The data are based on the 2007 and 2009 censuses)

Cincar is not Romanian, but Aromanian. It doesn't come from țânțar (mosquito) - that's more of a Romanian tease, stemming from the funny way these people pronounce ce/ci as tze/tzi instead of tche/tchi.

According to Aromanians, Cincar comes the number five, meaning from Legio V Macedonica (people of this Vlach tribe claim ascendance from Roman legionaries stationed in Macedonia). Cincar would be spelled Cincear in Romanian.

We call Aromanians Cincari. Macedonians don't use that term, they call them Vlasi (Vlachs).

It's funny, we call Aromanians, Machedoni, and Macedonians, Macedoneni.

    Aromanians don't really like that.

Cincar-Janko according to some Serbian historians was not of Aromanian origin, but he got nick Cincar because of his origin from part of Macedinia where also Aromanians lived https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cincar-Janko

Naum Krnar for sure was of Aromanian origin https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naum_Krnar
