Many greens pejoratively call both Capitalism AND Communism 'industrialism'. The UK in particular, being so small, densely-populated and being on the vanguard of the Industrial Revolution lost a lot of countryside thanks to industrialisation. Furthermore, especially in South Wales and Northeast England, it wasn't even necessarily the case that it led to the creation of big towns and cities - in fact, at one point the largest town in Wales was Merthyr Tydfil (current population circa 50,000).
More generally, the way in which Capitalism was introduced and solidified ruined the peasantry: Enclosure Acts privatised what had been communally-held land, Corn Laws opened up to competition what had been protected crops, Poor Laws drastically cut if not abolished what was then called 'relief' for the poor.
