A warning about possible terrorist attacks in Moscow has appeared on the website of the US embassy in Russia. The text says that the diplomatic mission is "monitoring reports" that "extremists intend to attack large gatherings of people, including concerts" within the next 48 hours. Specific events are not mentioned.

The statement also gave the event's likelihood rating as imminent. US citizens have been advised to avoid crowded places and monitor local media reports.

Now the English-language version of the site on which the warning was posted is unavailable. There is no such publication on the Russian-language one.

Wahabi movement beheaded here in last 8-9 years, lots of them were eliminated in 2015-2017, while thousands were let to go to Syria for further recycling on place. Same as Russian neonazis were freely let to join Ukrainian side, we cleansed our society of those deviants. Same for leftists/anarchists in 2019-2021. Lots got eliminated or imprisoned or left abroad, not too late because there were already signs of leftist terrorism against state and populace.

If some act of islamic terrorism gonna happen (I hope no) it will be first in years.

If the US has intelligence of a terrorist attack on Russia, but don't share the info with the Russians, they are also guilty if it happens.

Russia has in the past shared intelligence with the US on such things. But the US has no morals.

This article adds the following news: the FSB has claimed that it has "thwarted the activities of an ISIS cell in (Russia's) Kaluga region whose members were planning an attack on a Jewish religious institution in Moscow."

They provided such to the FBI on at least one occasion. We all know what happened in Boston after they ignored it, and that was nothing compared to the shunned intelligence before 9/11, but I'm just a conspiracy theorist.
