Who would you prefer to live around: White Americans or White French people?

No nationality is perfect, but I've grown to really love the friendliness and non-judgmental attitude of Americans, I find that I am more likely to find Americans with these positive qualities than ones without them. I know that the average person where I live is not going to look down on me for things out of my control and that they often have a very genuine kindness to them.

I find that French people have often been prejudiced against me for being Slavic, and I often find them arrogant and self-absorbed. Obviously this doesn't apply to every French person ever, but it is an experience I've had repeatedly.

Americans all the way. I don't really even think I'd visit France if given the opportunity.

White Americans: can't stand the men but the women are really cool and suck the D like true champs. French are fucking annoying and smell like shit regardless of gender.

I dont know any French and Americans in real life, or personally, but i speak english and dont speak french, and it would be a hard task to learn french now, french is also more difficult then english. So Id have to go with americans, but only because the language. I dont prefer one people over the other.

Really? But if that were so, then it does lay to rest these notions of "pan-European brotherhood" to some extent.

I speak French and I like French people - I am very working class rights - minded and I find such echoes in French people, love for social equity (but not in the woke norm of the US).

I also speak English and whenever I met Americans it was nice to interact, although they tended to come across as a bit fake (corporate people are often like this), smiling too much, being overly polite and formal etc, nothing wrong with that but I enjoy more natural interaction, in which the other is not afraid to say stuff you don't agree with, I like dialogue more than avoiding any sensitive topic, and I feel big city corporate and intellectual Americans are a little too good at self-censoring themselves in discussions. I never met working class Americans, they don't vacation in Romania usually

however, I voted both, I don't prefer any over the other
