Just like the Christian thing is also just a trend. Most people nowadays are atheists and even the ones who say they're proud Christians or proud Muslims are just larps. They don't practice what they preach

Some Albanians I know converted to Catholicism because of Skenderbeu, or just to be seen as more European. Some Austrians convert to Islam because their friends are Muslims.

Religion is dead. Its been dead since ww2. Its mostly a political thing nowadays.

Islam is a very fleshy, earthly religion which is more some kind of ideology or tool of creating world order than religion. People who seek for earthly things choose it often, it's very limited and contradictive.
