The ''oriental'' is definitely not ottoman.
Our pop music is indeed with eastern flavour from our Byzantine heritage. I like it.
Who doesnt like, dont need to listen to it. Big deal.

I'll provide some links from the Southern parts of our lands, which are notably older, and predate even the 1960s, which Varda was talking about.

I guess you would consider all traditional Macedonian, Bulgarian, Greek, Aromanian or Albanian music oriental then?

The 1st one doesn't sound oriental, the 2nd and 3rd one definitely sound Oriental.
The last song you've sent sounds like what it is - Greek, although the intro kind of resembles traditional/religious music of the Jews.

No, we are not different than the others Serbs, there are also some turkish loanwords among Krajina Serb vocabulary.
Some surnames that are typical Krajina Serb are Slavicized form (ends with -ić) from Turkish loanwords.
    So leave that cultural racism.
Why are you trying so hard to make it seem as if the Serbs are all exactly the same? I'm not saying that we're completely different, nor do I deem the Serbs from Serbia to be inferior. It's actual diversity, not cultural racism, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. It doesn't mean that I'm somehow undermining the unity of the Serbs if I'm discussing the differences present among various regions.
You're acting as if heritage, genetics and surroundings of the person don't influence the person one bit, and we're all a "tabula rasa". On the contrary, I believe that our ancestry impacts and defines us in certain ways, even if we've got a free will and everyone is a unique person to a certain extent.

So essentially you think Orient starts somewhere at Aegean/Thracian lands.

The last one is not Greek but Aromanian.

An example of Krajina Serb traditional singing 'ojakanje.' It is archaic way of singing.
