I guess that the type per se is not questioned, just where he would be expected to be.

Admittedly, the expressed depigmentation is rare in the south, as also being notably dinarid is somewhat rare in the north. So he is somewhat atypical all around. Northern German etc. is possible as well as you also do have some dinarid types but I seriously would more expect him in Southern Germany.

Interestingly, a lot of ideal soldier pics during the National Socialism were typologicall dinarid-nordid or nordid-dinarid and only in a minority of cases nordid. Hardly any of those depicted individuals would have passed well in Sweden, f. i.

Looks like a robust Nordid type, maybe mixed with Dinarid. I think this is the Norid subtype? (Noricum was Roman Austria)

In fact his face was morphed with Italian footballer Luciano Re Cecconi and German Long jumper Luz Long,Luz Long was from Leipzig and Re Cecconi was from Lombardy.

I have two ideas why the blond Nordid-Dinarid males got a promotion on a state-organized level.

First is that the party had people with moderate homosexual tendencies, for e.g. Heinrich Himmler.

Second is that they looked distinctly different from your average Neo-Danubian enemy in Poland and Westernmost parts of the USSR, even light-haired ones.
