So mentally retarded people have tons of children? Nope. The problem is a certain demographic. But otherwise, this is something people say to make themselves feel better. I am a failure because I haven't gotten married and had children. That is true success. If you have a high paying job but no wife or kids, you are a failure. My parents both had high IQs and have 5 children . My father had a 140 IQ and my mother was 120. My father was offered a VP position at his company but my mother told him to turn it down because she felt it would tempt him to have affairs with other women.

We all have our faults and strengths. If a person does the best with what they are given, no matter how limited, I wouldn't call them "a failure". Those who squander their time on futile pursuits and believe the world owes them a living, that is another matter entirely.

That's from a perspective of free men or women. But children give people energy and motivation in life they never knew they had, but on the other hand children can spend that energy.
