This is how I felt about it.

She is no more special than the average woman from her country that gets cancer.

I am not sure how it works in the UK but the average woman who gets cancer is probably more special than her just because this hypothetical woman actually has a job and/or raises her own kids instead of having nannies do it for her, prior to the diagnosis.

If anyone else lived like royals we'd call them welfare queens...

That is all true and I agree but I guess this applies to any Hollywood actor or famous person who gets ill and/or dies. Why did David Bowie get such acclaim when loads of normal people die from cancer everyday? Not a big royalist at all btw

David Bowie was a legend who earned his fame, wealth etc. He wasnt a welfare hog unlike the royals
