Default The Javan Tiger is still alive??

Forrest Galante thinks so, apparently hard evidence has come through, and he will presumably mount an expedition to find them.

will be good if they are not extinct
in recent years DNA analysis has shown there are actually only two sub-species of tiger

mainland tigers are one sub-species (Bengal, Siberian, Indochina, South China, Caspian)
island tigers are the other (Sumatran, Java, Bali)

Yes indeed...which makes this find a little less significant, I guess. Because there are still a fair amount of Sumatra tigers around, even though they're not nearly as common as the Bengal tigers.
