This is where alot of people make a mistake. Within India, there is certainly a north/ south divide, but it doesn't just stop there. You have high caste and low caste etc which can be found in north and south. For Instance there are south Indians with higher Aryan ancestry than north Indians with lower to almost none Aryan ancestry based on geography and caste.

Why do you think I don't know that? Point stands. Every autosomal admix is ofcourse influencing phenotype in group basis, Indians are no exception. Without Aryan invasion they would look different than they do today.

I made that assumption based on your previous reply when you didn't acknowledge the caste system and how it alters Aryan admixture regardless of location in the north or south . Also, I never made a claim the Aryans didn't have an impact on the sub continent, my initial point was that within the sub continent there isn't anyone who resembles their Aryan ancestors in its true form.

Half English half Nigerian looks much less Anglo Saxon than a Portuguese person but that doesn't mean Portuguese is Anglo-Saxon at all and that mulatto doesn't have much of this DNA.
