In 1990 World Cup, Naples supported Argentina against Italy and Italy lost the match. (: https://inside.fifa.com/news/dia-que...entina-2278635

Probably because of the immense experience they have received and the risk that comes with immigration. It takes far more skill to make it somewhere abroad than in a familiar environment where everything is spoon-fed.

I guess one of the reasons is they often represent something more ancestral than the actual population of their country of origin(which itself mixes with new waves of migrants, assimilated ethnicities etc). For example Pontic Greeks speak the most ancestral variety of Greek there is. Immigrants are like population isolates of some sort.

i see 2 reasons:
1. its not getting shamed, more so its even being encouraged through immigrant culture
2. a lot of immigrants are dysgenic as fuck. The few that are at least not a drain on the economy are still utter opportunists/egoists who will leave for a better country the moment it pays more. Im probably not the only one who is aware of quite negative immigrant groups but then gets along quite well with the people of the country that theyre originally from. Turks are an extreme example for me, one of the worst immigrant groups, but really nice in their own country
