I'm not an expert on Russian Ethnicitys,but from the few groupal photos of Mari and nearby ethnicities in this forum and other,the woman looks extremely Atypical

But I think that if you search for Mari at google and don't select a particular pic that will be the more representative display.

One needs to be somewhat attentive when searching for supposedly Mari people with Google, as not all pictures are representative of ethnic Mari. In the Mari El, the Mari make up only 40.1% of the population and are in fact outnumbered by ethnic Russians who make up 52,5% of the population. And one has to take into account that there is plenty of mixed marriages, when as a rule (at least in Mari El) children declare themselves as Mari rather than ethnic Russians.

The Mari are 35% Mongoloid on average, so they as a rule display some Mongoloid features.
