    Hair colour wise they do look darker. English seem to have more Keltic-Nordid and Anglo-Saxon type.

    Yeah, they look darker than English tend to do.

    Agreed, but you have to consider people look slightly darker in photos, especially hair and skin colour wise.

    What's the point in such questions? It's well established that the Irish are darker haired and lighter eyed than the English on average (and paler). Cherrypicked group photos don't change that.

    Overall, the Irish seem to look less distinctive from the English from the Welsh (on average) even if they are genetically further away. That is just my perspective, ofc!
    Anyway, here before us we have the usual mix of KNs, Brunns and pseudo-Alpine types.

    My point is that this set don't look necessarily paler than the eastern and northern English at least, Ireland is varied in types and it could be argued that a significant proportion are darker than many British.
