Honestly hip hop fans don't take women seriously especially if they do gangsta rap. Hip hop is extremely male dominated. But they still criticize few women. That were able to find success. Probably mad that those women sell more than their favs. I like pop more . Pop music love female artist

Do you even understand the lyrics of these well known female hip-hop artists? Every single major one like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj etc. are former strippers and prostitutes. The lyric content is mainly about having loose sexual morals and shaking your ass in the strip club for money. If it gets more clicks than other types of hip-hop is only because they're more promoted in the mainstream as quasi-pop artists, whereas drill/trap rap is stigmatized because of the violent lyrics and gang affiliations, so they don't get any radio time.
