I think by "Mongolian" OP actually means ANE or minor Neo-Siberian (Nganassan) and not exactly Han Mongolian.

Nearly all European have ANE and as can be seen by dna plots it's not like Scandinavians are very eastern shifted. They do plot in the Northwestern European cluster. It is their Baltic component not Siberian that pulls them east.

Southern Europeans look like a semi-Arabic population and genetics confirm it. Northern Europeans being Mongoloid is just a cope they found to feel better about themselves.
