My family hated Trump in 2016, when I was freshly out of high school, and I kind of just hiveminded with them about it.

8 years later I think he's probably alright. Tried to vote for him in 2020 but my vote quite literally never got counted as per the county website. In 2024 I would not vote again but I think he is fine. I like the kind of Americans who support him unless they are methed out white trash (I have met a few of those). I live in a rural area so it's usually very nice and polite Baptist, very proper people.

I do not think he is capable of "saving America" or whatever, or that he is wholly good or not controlled at least in part by somebody else, but I like him just fine.

I do hope he wins.

You have e-voting in the US?

There is a little card you get when you register to vote. It says the location at which you are to vote, your registered party, and some demographic information about you. When you go and vote in person, at least for the county I voted in, it will update your record on the website saying if you voted or not. Mine said I did not vote even though I absolutely did.
