Prostitution is with us since the humanity, it cannot be banned because it will always exist. If you dont allow it then the criminals will be the pimps instead of the government like now if its legal. Its very well documented in Hungary and the government is much better pimp than a criminal.

In fact, vast majority of prostitutes love sex and they love easy money, thats why they are doing this stuff, not because they are forced. Its not a difficult thing. Yes every job has risk, just like if your a soldier or a cop or fireman. This is their choice to do that, except some extreme cases when gypsies are sold their daughter or kidnapping, but these are very rare compared to others. But these things will always exist, doesnt matter you ban it or not.

If we are banning the prostitution because some woman are suffering, then by this logic we should ban every other job, because your boss is forcing you to do things and tons of people are suffering in their workplace. We should ban the cars because of car thiefs and accidents on the roads etc.

This article is actually written by a prostitute.

Because I’ve worked in every area of prostitution, I can say that no area has a monopoly on degradation and no area is free of it. The perception exists that street-walking prostitutes are unique among their kind in that they are the only women in the business who suffer daily degradation. They certainly suffer the consequences of being regarded as the lowest of the low, but it would be very wrong to assume that degradation is restricted to the red-light zones. There are no such restrictions in prostitution. Contrary to this misinformation, it is just as possible and just as customary to be humiliated in a five-star hotel.
Not every middle- and upper-middle class woman who becomes involved in prostitution will have psychological issues that are so glaringly obvious, but I do not believe it is possible for a woman to willfully involve herself in prostitution without there being some problem, sexual or otherwise, that precedes it. Everything I have ever seen in prostitution leads me to this conclusion. To know that women like the one I’ve just mentioned are commonly regarded as ‘high class’ amongst prostitutes just adds a new negative dimension to prostitution for me; it is the dimension of the preposterous and the absurd.

Most prostitutes are from backgrounds of dysfunction, just like I was, and relive the turbulence of their early years in prostitution, just like I did. It’s important though, in examining the backgrounds of prostituted women, to remember that not all childhood dysfunction is as obvious as mine was. Not all young girls from emotionally unhealthy homes have greasy hair and tattered, dirty clothing. Many of the women I knew in prostitution had far more disturbing childhoods than I had; they just didn’t have the outwardly obvious symbolism of my own. Many of them didn’t have the visible symptoms that serve as sure-fire indicators that something’s wrong at home. In many instances in their childhoods, no doubt their skin was spotless, as would have been their clothes and hair; it would have been only in the eyes that you would have gauged something of what was going on at home.
People who depict prostitution as glamorous usually view prostitutes against the backdrop of expensive hotel foyers; they imagine prostitutes as entering or leaving five-star hotels wearing sharp designer suits and high heels, the look set off with vivid red lipstick. I’ve walked into more hotels more times than I could count wearing sharp suits, high heels and every shade of lipstick. None of that changed what was going on in my heart or in my mind and none of it made any difference to the bodily experience involved here; none of it was of any practical benefit to my mouth, breasts or vagina. What was going on was the very same thing that was going on when I was lifting my skirt in a backstreet alley. The nature of prostitution does not change with its surrounds. It does not morph into something else because your arse is rubbing against white linen as opposed to roughened concrete.

At least it's not as big a sin to sell ones body as to sell the future of ones people like modern gobernments do.
    Do what you should.

I doubt prostitutes are prostituting themselves because the "vast majority of prostitutes love sex".

Again, it’s important to avoid generalizing about how women get into prostitution. Studies show that large numbers of prostitutes were sexually abused during their childhood. It is the fact of the sexual abuse, more than anything else, that seems to underlay how and why some of them become prostitutes. These are the people most likely to be addicted to drugs as well as to develop, or already have, serious health problems, not the least of which is HIV as well as other STDs.

Finally, there are women who see prostitution as their way out of poverty. While they may choose to sell themselves, it is economic necessity that drives them. These are people who are unable to get jobs and are sometimes the only bread winners in the family.

If they love sex then prostitution will definitely change that.

The issue with prostitution is that despite you saying a lot of women are doing it voluntary, I don't agree, I think women that sell their bodies have in a very high percentage of cases a history of sexual abuse, drug abuse but then there are the women that are trafficked and also children into prostitution. It's an abusive industry and why would you claim that even if some women might choose to do prostitution (which I doubt) that many more are not forced into it. If any woman is involved in prostitution it has an enormous social stigma. I mean how many men would be happy to have his wife in that profession?

It's not the same as the examples you are giving. Prostitution devalues all women because women's bodies are being commodified and not given human dignity.
That is why in my earlier post I specifically noted that the trafficked and poverty stricken sex workers are in fact victims.

I mentioned besides from them there are women that choose to do it and simply that many of those that choose to do it
have the capacity to do other jobs that some are qualified with university degree's.
I mentioned when I was at University I witnessed a female lecturer tell us that it was quite common for university students to sometimes do sexwork as parttime job whilst they are at Uni or college. Im not making that up that is literally what the Lecturer(female) said. Also I was made aware of 2 girls in the University course were or had been sex workers, that is also true nd this was 20 years ago.

I mean my very first post in this thread is exactly what we are now talking about which is there are many people like yourself that seem to just not be able to accept that a healthy functional woman that has the ability to for example get into a university course and can work in other jobs that it is almost impossible to believe that they could wilingly choose to do the job of a sexworker.

Againin Im not here to say it is a great job choice or promote it however I disagree with you in that I feel there are women that do choose to do it whom are not forced and also whom have other options and whom are not drug addicts.

The job has a lot of stigma and there are probably limited amount of people that are willing to say yes they chose to do it because it was a way to make a lot of money quickly.

There are people in all jobs and careers that use drugs and alcohol there are many people who experienced sexual assualt that did not become sex workers I also doubt that all non trafficked non poverty stricken sex workers were sexually abused or came to the industry because they were drug addicts although I accept and beieve there would be proportion that are.

I understand how it seems hard to believe that people could just willingly do that job with random people but for example I would never want to work as a paramedic which is a job where you seee horrible and traumatic things on a daily basis. But there are many women who become paramedics some of those people
enjoy a high drama job, as weird as it sounds i believe its true because i know a person who works such a job and she often says how much she loves drama.
Im not saying that Prostitution is a healthy or recommended job its not what i have been saying but i do believe that there are women that choose to do it because it
provides quick money and better paying money than mnay other jobs. I understand that people cannot accept that to be the case but i believe it is the case not for all sexworkers but certainly for many of them.
There is a plethora of interviews similiar to the ones below but we could post either side of the story adnauseum im sure.

Also I personally am NOT talking about mere safety, and I am NOT talking about high-class escorts.
(I only mentioned that Nordic countries consider public health and safety.)

I make a distinction between prostitutes, as I said earlier:

who work for pimps and gangs, who were trafficked,
who have no idea what city they are in,
    who are always high,
who do not speak the native language, etc.
These sex-trafficking operations are busted often in Germany!

-non-coerced, opportunistic prostitutes, sugar babies, OnlyFans, etc.,
women who work for themselves, part-time or full-time

-escorts, who are often models or of model quality, who work for agencies or for themselves, "elite prostitutes"
Legalisation of prostitution leads to more prostitutes and lower prices, simple as that. Basic economics.

Lower prices benefit the customer NOT the prostitute.
The prostitute will have less and less power, and will be less able to resist abuse and degradation,
which will become widespread (like in porn), legal, unenforced or under-reported.

Lower prices thus lead to lower market value for prostitutes (thus abuse against them will be more tolerated),
an inability for "normal" self-employed prostitutes to make a living,
and thus more pimping and trafficking to meet demand, economies of scale.

High-class escorts are a totally separate thing, very few.

Higher prices, and a closed expensive market where laws are actually enforced,
reduces trafficking, violence, abuse, degradation to a minimum.

Prostitution and trafficking can never be separated, and will never be totally absent.
But they can be reduced to a minimum.

One curiosity is how, while female prostitution is truly multiracial and varied, male prostitution seems to be heavily dominated by Blacks and (especially in the US, but even to an extent the UK too - principally in London) Latinos.

Legalising prostitution only leads to more of it for a lower price, and you will get more stories like these:
