In most cultures and throughout most of recorded human history, the man conquers the woman and the woman is usually the one who gives in.

Society sees value in those who conquer something, but not in those who give in too much. Therefore, a woman who has had many partners is seen as someone with no criteria, easy to be convinced by anyone. They are not the type of women most men would like to date.

It's probably even a Darwinian method of natural selection and evolution, encoded in us. In the animal kingdom there are several male species that kill their rivals' offspring to ensure their own lineage. Effective contraception is a relatively recent development in human history and so, until recently, having multiple partners in most cases meant having several offspring from different competing partners. Humans are rational animals but likely in our male subconscious this is a method of natural selection. Why else most men tend to like younger women, which are usually more fertile and likely have had less partners or none at all?

I don't think anyone here will approach someone directly to "slut shame" them in the face, but you won't be able to change what most men think about women who live a life of promiscuity. And I'm sorry to break it to you but in my experience anyone who says they don't care is just looking to get laid. For that, you can be a "slut" and there will be no problem.

And by the way, you don't need men for slut shaming women. Women already do it to other women, to a much greater extent than men.

Men and women both need to limit sex to serious long-term relationships.

How you dress is a reflection of how you view yourself.
