How did the English with 15,000 soldiers (or less ) manage to conquer the entire Indian subcontinent with 300 millions people ?
In the 19th century, rifles were also known in India.
Why was Indian subcontinent so incredible passive and helpless as to be unable to resist against so few soldiers ?
2000 years ago to conquer England with 4 million inhabitants, the ancient Romans sent 3 legions, that is, approximately 18,000 soldiers and knights... with thousands more people in the logistics sector.
So a Briton from 2000 years ago was worth as much as 100 Indians from the 19th century.
