Women are naturally more selective due to having a lower sex drive, and also because getting pregnant is more of a comittment than impregnating someone. 80% of what people believe is false. Women care more about looks than men. On the other hand, unlike men, they can ''forget'' about looks pretty fast and compromise if the man has to offer money, intelligence (if it's recognized by society) , status, fame, car etc. For the average man, money , status , occupation and things like that can impress, but won't count.

Trust me (trust me bro ), deep down, regardless of whom they end up with, they prefer the most handsome guy they know. I've seen it tons of times (maybe it's different in Turkey), women not being able to control themselves when some other woman sitting close has some dude who's more handsome than their guy. They blush, become verbally aggressive, start playing with eyes with said dude, the least respectful ones (especially if unmarried) will flirt in front of their man.
