Macedonians in Serbia are in process of assimilation of course, because they are culturally compatible with Serbs. But those who are still ethnic Macedonians and part of Macedonian minority are all descendants of settlers after WW2. Older Macedonian settlers never played Macedonian minority in Serbia because Macedonian nation did not exist in that times. Macedonians who settled in Serbia in 19th and first half of 20th century became Serbs as soon as they set foot in Serbia.

Even in Montenegro will be lower percentage of declared Montenegrins and higher of declared Serbs on the newest census in comparison with 2011. Because of that Montenegrin regime don't want to publish results of census which is finnished 4-5 months ago.

They publushed total number of population, and numbers by cities and municipalities; but not ethnic, religious and linguistic structure which is more important.
