I don't think people quite understand that no matter where ANY country turns to,they are all run by the same people with the same agenda.

I would rather be a stand alone nation,out of any alliance,but keep on good terms of other nations for trade purposes.

Russia knows what it wants and wouldn't let bad influences creep in. The elite of Britain are quite capitalist / right leaning but a large amount of the people are on the left, even many conservative types hold some left wing views.
If anything the influence would perhaps be greater here.

Yeah, I was talking about it now with Albion, big variation of accents, many are indeed unfamiliar to me,especially over the phone, Berkshire accent is the most familiar one since I lived there longest and at the end got a little bit used to Birmingham accent and some slang words since we moved there and also I would say "TV ,news/The Queen's English "
I can watch even the most boring movie if it has English accent ...

Kid you not, but the U.S. depends so much on Britain it is virtually handicapped without this "small" island nation.. i can get more into depth, but imma snooze off now, and carry on tomorrow.
