US Army Rations - World War II

All about the U.S Army rations of World War II.

Today in British Prisons, they still use powdered egg,milk and some other powdered foods left over from British Army food dumps of W.W.2.

They also use grade 3 pig meal instead of the traditional Porridge for breakfast.

They also pay millions of £'s in fines to the E.C.H.R to keep the conditions as they are,very poor.


They also use Isolation,Starvation and Deprovation the three main forms of modern day torcher.

That would be classified as torture but I can't say that I disagree with the policy.

Digusting....they should have gourmet meals and fresh oysters and champagne for breakfast.
Also they should have Napoleon brandy and fine cigars in the evening to relax after a hard day watching DVD's and playing pool.

I dont know what the UK is coming to........i dont know......as soon as i turn my back.

I personally think it should be a lot harsher. Bring back the cat 'o nine tails and Mr.Pierrepoint.

I think "keel hauling" would be more of a deturant than "the Cat" or "the Gunners daughter" Mr A.Pierrepoint performed a task well. One which I am in favour of whole heartedly.

However I did get carried away on a different tangent.
I am not so well informed as others as to what happens in prison.

I understand the G.I.s of W.W.2 called them "C"+"K" ration's.

I myself was always thankful for a little "Fresh".

Trinidad still uses" the cat" today. Hence the term "Not enough room to swing a "Cat" in here".
