He is part Kalmyk and part Chuvash. The Chuvash are a Turkic Christian Orthodox people and the Kalmyk are a Mongol Buddhist people who live in the North Caucasus in their republic of Kalmykia located north of Dagestan, this could explain his Mongol like attributes. He did not have Tatar blood though.

The first one sounds right, but Armenoid is way off. Lenin looked like a typical northern European from Germany, Scandinavia, etc.

He is part Kalmyk and part Chuvash.

There are rumors about this, but no concrete proof. Ilya Ulyanov's family came from Nizhny Novgorod (Gorky) and Astrakhan. They didn't belong to foreign nationalities, but were Russian.

Lenin was the spitting image of his father.

And features like red hair, grey eyes, baldness, and thick facial hair are not commonly associated with Asiatic races.

And it is certain his maternal grandfather was a Jew (Alexandr Blank) who adopted Christianity.

According to Russian Wiki Lenin had possible Chuvash roots from his father's side.

Again, there are a lot of rumors about his alleged ancestry, but not enough concrete proof. If Lenin was really Chuvash,Kalmyk, etc then that would be expressed by his family names. Tons of people belonging to the Russian nationality today have foreign family names, especially Ukrainian and German.

It was Lenin's sister who claimed to have found something that identified their grandfather as Jewish. Lenin's maternal side is German and perhaps something else, and his father's side was nothing but Russian.
