Who is closer: Poles and Germans or Poles and Balkan Serbs?

Poles as a whole are closer to east germans than to croats while south poles are indeed closer to croats.

Maybe 85 years ago, but the border regions are comprised of entirely different people now. The eastern Germans have been replaced with Poles displaced from their former eastern territories.

Serbs have a certain incidence of types that are present in Poland which are common for both while not so much for ethnic Germans but at the same time there is a lot of very meddish / exotic looking Serbs.

If it was Croats (their neighbours) or Germans I'd say Croats but with Serbs it is more like 50/50, maybe even leaning into Germans as there are so many very swarthy Serbs.

depends which germans you are talking about, if you are talking about east germans than definetly germany, but if you are talking about the rest of the germans than definetly serbs.

Calling Mediterranean looking people exotic is pure autism, do they look like Arabs or rather like other south Europeans? Maybe all south Europeans look exotic, who knows.

If you never visited some country (and i can bet you haven't visited Serbia or any other country in that area) you can't speak about them. If you saw 10 "swarthy" (extremely autistic term btw) people on internet from certain country it doesn't mean that all of them are like that. Now keep licking Croatian boots, you are very good at it.
