There is no objective, empirical way to ascribe moral value or the lack thereof, to different groups of humans based on their appearance.
The value of all, therefore, should be the same. What you're talking about, actually, is just a preference, with nothing else underlying it.
It is not subjective to observe that a race that has lived on the same riverbank in Africa and still wears loincloths and never advanced beyond a hunter-gatherer mode of living is very likely a stupid race of people.
This isn't about appearance, this is about behavior and modes of living which just happen to closely correlate to appearance.
The value of all is NOT the same. The same race and culture that produced Sir Isaac Newton and countless other innovative men is NOT of the same value of naked spear-chuckers who have not developed in 20,000 years-plus. To assert such a thing is beyond blind political egalitarianism. It's a complete loss of contact with reality.
A racial hierarchy in history simply reflected an economic hierarchy. As a concept it reflected those who had superior technology and force of arms and those who did not. The domination was economic and physical. There was no "ladder", no "higher and lower" about it.
Unfortunately, there's always bound to be at least one person on such threads parroting Marxian-inspired social theory and class/power relations.
Racial heirarchy and economic heirarchy are closely related. After all, a race of illiterate spear-chuckers doesn't even know the first thing about farming let alone the first thing about commercial farming and trade of food or establishing a system of economic taxation and using that money to build and better civilization.
The whitest people of all are albinos, and after that, redheads. Their personalities and moral contributions and values vary enormously.
There is no ladder. It's a concept, an ideology to cover up and justify inequality.
The only concept I see whipped up to cover up inequality is from the political left, which is actually an indirect admission of the existence of the racial ladder. Illiterate spear chuckers never amassed the power to do anything anywhere, beginning with themselves.
Every country and people would probably judge themselves superior to their neighbours. The Chinese, for instance, think themselves superior to everybody.
I think it is fine to prefer one's own culture, or another's, but don't confuse that with issues of race. There is no superior race but there may be a superior culture.
Of course they do, but the difference is, some races/cultures are more justified in doing so than others. Why assert the cultural relatavistic crap idea that all cultures and races are equal when they obviously are NOT?
Since culture and race are closely tied, you've already defeated your own argument.
Like I said, there is simply no objective way to correlate moral value or behaviour with relative darkness or lightness of skin. It is, in fact, irrelevant.
Crime statistics say otherwise. Care to have a crack at it? 13% of the US population commits over 50% of all murders.
