This is not really true, because Poland has never had any true and authentic formulation of borders. Germany once ruled those lands, and did so for quite some time. The Polish were never able to develop a race-consciousness, and unwittingly decided to build their people's identity on cultural and linguistic aspects.


The Germans were wrongly forcibly moved Westward, because Breslau, Klingerwalde, Danzig, Pommerania, Posen, and Silesia were all truly German. If the true boundaries were to be drawn the top half of it would be cut off, and some of the Western territories.

They could probably unite themselves with a few Ukrainian regions and Belarussia. Other than that the pre-formed conditions, from which Poland's boundaries arose were not as strongly pre-defined as it was for Germany. I know many Western Polish people with German surnames, and I wonder why that is.

They are not ethnic South Slavs. They may live in a south Slavic country, but they don't belong to the Slavic race.

1) It's an objective statement. There is a Gypsy range of phenotypes just like there is a Slavic range of phenotypes. He fits into the Gypsy range.
