The thread is more intended to be a warning for the French, the Dutch or the English who aren't accustomed to the coming coldness.Yea it's been so called ''winter'' for a while now, and I don't think it'll get much worse either. We had around -30°C last year, this season will probably be like summer in comparsion anyway.
