If we include the English who have a mixed racial background, then obviously the percentages of blue eyes is lower. However if we only count those who are primarily of English descent then the percentages are similar to what they were a few hundred years ago. Not much has changed. The South-West English still have the lowest percentage of blue eyes in England at 35%. Thus it really depends on the context.

You then don't know what you are talking about. You most likely also believe Gobineau theories, right?
I didn't say the whole project is a fraud I just said the numbers likely are since there are no sources for where they come from and how they were obtained. Email the company yourself and ask them how they got their data and see if you get a response. I you are successful in finding a source I will retract.

Historical anthropologists held general views about race that might be seen as outdated by today, and didn't have access to DNA and modern technology, but that is not to say their numbers for simple observable things as hair and eye colors are made up as it would be too easy to prove false with another study. Dismissal of data from old pigmentation studies on simple unproven grounds that they were "biased" without any evidence comes from people who don't like what they say. There are also several modern studies on pigmentation and in all cases I've seen fit with old numbers very well.

You complain about prejudice yet use "people like you" when you know nothing about me. I have no idea who Gobineau is.

My bad, there are probably others specially for a country like UK. I just mentioned the most prominent ones. My point as just that you have to have a respectable publication not a daily mail shady company advertisement with no source.

Correct, you are right on! The so-called "dark" Cornish people of South-West England are not even dark at all. Yes, South-West England might have the lowest frequency of blue eyes in the British Isles, but it is higher than of Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium. Nevertheless, it is equal to that of Germany. Approximately 30% of the Cornish have various shades of blond hair.

Dark and Swarthy are not defined very well. People have multiple ideas and definitions.
