Its fairly typical for brits. 75% of english and scottish people have either medium/mousy brown or darkbrown/black hair. It goes up to 80% in wales and Ireland.

Plain brown hair = Hugh grant.
darkbrown/black hair = robbie williams or colin farrell

Brown and hazel eyes are about 45-50% in southern england and wales.. and over a third for northern england and scotland. Only Ireland has under 1/3 of brown or hazel eyes but the hair is actually darker.. 75-80% of Irish people do have dark hair.

I see only 1 blonde guy, 1 redhead , 1 darkblond and 14 with various shades of brown (teacher included), mostly medium to dark brown... Thats about 18% of light vs 82% of dark hair.

The most common eye color in the British Isles is blue! In Britain, Blond hair is found in 25% , 7% have red hair, 40% light/medium brown/chestnut, only 3.1% have black hair and the rest have dark brown hair. Most of the brown hair has a golden/reddish tinge to it.
In Ireland, hair color 13% blonde, 10% red, 31% light/medium brown/chestnut/auburn, 36% darker hair. More than 80% have light eyes (blue+green). The golden tinge in brown hair has a higher frequency than in Britain.
22% of dark eyes it's too low imo.

Funny thing about the portrayal of Brits being uber dark on this board, in this country anglos are considered the standard for white and anyone who diverges from looking stereotypically anglo just a tiny bit are often viewed as less white by the public. The Germans here aren't known for being very blonde infact quite a handful look like Patrick Flueger. Whether that has to do with a lot of them being Bavarians or not (a people whose darkness is also exaggerated) they're not noticeably any lighter than British-Americans and tend to mostly have dark brown hair. My maternal side is dominantly Australians and they out-nordic most of the Germans here i've met. Perhaps it's different for North Germans, but here Germans aren't lighter and they certainly aren't fairer than the Irish or English Americans. We have tons of European ethnic groups here slavic groups, other germanic groups, still the British-Americans are considered to have the lightest skin.
Send me dms asking me to classify you, i'll have Barbarianna of Barbaria here put a few holes in you. Then I'll take this guitar and smash it over your head.

What are the current percentages on Eye Colour in England? Also have people gotten less blue eyed or more blue eyed in the past couple hundred years?

I'll look at an old school class photo and come up with an estimate based on that.

How do you know if you have never been to Europe? Dont come here pretending you are belgian, because you are not.

22% of brown eyes for britain is fairly ridiculous!! the percentage is higher than that!!

True blonde hair for british people is 15-20% Redheads (auburn excluded) sits at 7-8% rest are shades of brown and black hair.

I am a Belgian from Vlaams!!! Who are you? I guess you're ridiculous! This is overall frequency of the eye colour spectrum of the British by the Blue Eye Project in 2014, not your unintelligent bias based on nothingness! The British are nowhere as dark as you portray them to be! You have not known British people most likely. The most common eye colour in Britain is blue (48%) and the least common is brown (22%), though if separated Scotland obviously scores higher.

Oh well too bad for you, Monsieur ou Mademoiselle Visage Pale. This is from a recent study done in 2014 by the Blue Eye and ScotlandsDNA project led by geneticist Alistair Moffat. Only 22% of British people have brown eyes as a whole, though this is lower in regions of Scotland especially South-East Scotland where 57% have blue eyes, 29% green and only 14% brown! The British Islanders are predominantly a pretty light-eyed population, proven by recent scientific facts. Though the regions are not equally blue-eyed. Scotland is roughly as blue-eyed as Denmark according to the study. South-West England on the other hand is the least blue-eyed region of Britain, though it's still slightly more blue-eyed than Flanders and northern France. The Irish are known to be blue-eyed anyway.
