I've been mistaken for Italian more than anything else. I'm mostly British and Irish, but I look more Jewish or Spanish. It must be the Cherokee genes that give us that coloring of black hair with brown eyes. I've been told that I look Greek too.

Someone at work today, a Kazakh girl who is new, asked me if I am Armenian. "You have big nose, you Armenian?" Not kidding.

I did pretty much the opposite (for having some fun) , i asked to almost every badger (what we italians calls ''vu gumbrà'') in the beach (when i spend an holyday near Rome) where they come from, because they were manly south asian (from bangladesh) i was right in almost all cases, sometimes i mistook North Africans for ''bangladesh'', there was even a romanian badger i asked to him ''are you Bangladesh'' his answer was ''no'' then i said ''morocco'' and he said ''Romania'', i was really surprised about that (he was propably a gispy).
Anyway i don't remember to be mistaken for an another ethnicity, i don't travel too much abroad anyway and i live in an isolated region were there aren't many foergin tourists...

I've never been mistaken as anything other than British, but people have thought my dad was Spanish, Turkish, Greek, Arab, Italian, you name it.

Interestingly, my mum has never been mistaken for any non-British ethnicity, even though she looks so Jewish it's unbelievable.

Most people know I have Irish/British blood in me, but the "other half" of me is usually guessed wrong. It is usually guessed as Italian, Greek, Spanish, or Eastern European. I once met a girl who was convinced I was half "Hispanic" (whatever the hell that even means...).

People have already told me that I look like these four ethnicities: British, Italian, French and German. It is always these four.
