Everybody mistakes my dad for Russian...Mostly Russians themselves.

Even in Rome,an Indian guy thought my dad was Russian and asked him if he was one.When my dad said,"No,I'm a Turk",Indian guy said that:"Give me a Muslim salute for making me believe "

My mother mostly gets mistaken as Italian and French also...

I've been mistaken for German, Dutch, Russian and Irish at various points.

I was not mistaken,but I've asked my collegues from work who have zero knowledge about Anthropology and Taxonomy where would they place me besides my current residence.

I get mistaken for Jewish online more than in person. In real life I hear Balkan Slavic (Serb and Bulgarian usually), Armenian, and Greek.

I was mistaken for Jewish online but I think just ignorant people with untrained eyes mistake me as one...

Perhaps an atypical Askenazi with so much Khazar and Slav influence would fit my look
