No it is not, or then we could go with equally stupid comparisons saying "many Moroccans are lighter than many French, British, etc".

Put it in context, 20% of Spaniards (tirando por lo bajo) are light eyed. These are 8 millions of Spaniards.
60% of French are brown eyed. These are... well no idea since French are super mixed people, so let say 30 millions.

Same for hair. 15-20% of Spaniards are light haired. 60% of French are dark haired. Make maths.

TBH only few Spaniards look Moroccan idk why ppl like to exaggerate about how Spanish and moroccan look alike. and I've never met any Moroccan that claims that they look Spanish they are very proud of their Amazigh/berber heritage.

You expect too much intelectual honesty from these brownies. They resent a deep inferior complex toward others Europeans because of their own darkness which make them look like Arabs or Pakis. They look at themselves in the mirror and see a creature looking like what they hate. They envy others Europeans for not being brown like them, but at the same time, they hate them because of envy and jealousy.

I pity them, that must not be funny everyday to be a Spaniard. The fact that they are the poorest people of Western Europe (after Portuguese) add even more to their inferiority complex. No wonder they are so much butthurt.

Personally I'm lighter than the majority of Spaniards, so I don't give a shit. It's just entertaining to see these brownies being in denial of these embarassing truths despite the evidences of it. And they have zero argument to oppose, as we can see.

We could see in the previous maps that Spaniards are as much dark-skinned than coastal Maghrebis on average. In these maps we can also see that the that the proportion of light hair and light eyes among Southern Spaniards is a low as among Maghrebis, and nothing comparable with the proportions of light features among French.

I have met and seen tons of Spaniards who are Mena/South asian looking. I also know many Maghrebis who were often mistaken for South European. I had a Riffian girlfriend who was also often mistaken for a Spaniard and she found that pretty cool despite she was proud of being Moroccan.

Personally I'm often perceived as being good looking, I can be guessed as Spanish or Italian but I'm not olive skin with brown eyes like the average Spaniard is, neither I can pass as mena/south asian, unlike millions of Spaniards.
