18 year old Diana Adamyan from Armenia has been awarded 1st prize at 2018 Menuhin Competition

2018 Menuhin Competition, the international contest of young violinists, was held in Geneva, Switzerland, in the Victoria Hall. 44 best young violinists, who were chosen among 300 candidates, took part in event.

What do you mean by saying "non-ethnic Armenians"?! Did Eva Gevorgyan said you she was non-ethnic Armenian?!

She HAS Armenian name and Armenian roots, she IS Armenian, here is her father Bak Gevorgyan:

Is Gevorgyan a popular family name? I know 2 Armenians with the same family name and they aren't related to each other.

She looks Russian. Her mother is Russian or this man not her father.
But I think rather both her parents are Russian.
Her Russian parents divorced and her mother married this Armenian.

I googled her.
She was born in Moscow, her mother is Russian.
I did not find information about her father.
But as I said, most likely her father is also Russian.
