Yes, traditionally in the US we applied the one drop rule, that is any known African ancestry, and in the case of Virginia's Racial Integrity Act, our most famous anti-miscegenation law which was the specific subject of the 1967 SCOTUS Loving ruling, anything more than 1/16 Amerind was considered non-white.

Such precedents give us decent benchmarks to work with as we move forward.
